Image Upload Guidelines for Elfsight Widgets
Not sure which images to use for your Elfsight widget? This guide provides simple recommendations to help you choose the right image size, proportions, and format for the best display on your website.
General Information
Elfsight widgets support the following image formats:

Image proportions usually matter more than exact dimensions. Follow these general recommendations:
- Small images (logos, avatars, etc.)
Use square images with a 1:1 aspect ratio (for example, 100 × 100 px, 250 × 250 px, etc). - Images displayed in their original proportions
This applies to widgets such as Portfolio, Photo Gallery, Slider, etc. Use 1920 × 1080 px images (Full HD) for the best balance between quality and performance. Maximum recommended resolution: 2560 × 1440 px (Quad HD). - Mobile devices
Elfsight widgets adapt images to different screen sizes, but the original file size remains unchanged. For better mobile performance, consider using lower-resolution images. - File size
Keep images under 1 MB whenever possible. Smaller files help your website load faster and improve user experience. Maximum upload size: 100 MB.
