Connecting Instagram account to a Facebook Page

To connect your Business Instagram account to the Elfsight Instagram Feed widget, you need to link it to your Facebook Page. This can be done either on Facebook (via any device) or through the Instagram mobile app. Check out the guide below to get started! 😊

Desktop Instructions

Log in to your Facebook account and select the page you want to link to Instagram. Go to the Professional Dashboard tab at the top of the page:

In the left menu, choose Linked accounts:

Click Connect Account:

Press Connect:

You can choose to enable or disable the Allow access to Instagram messages in Inbox option. If enabled, you’ll be able to manage Instagram Direct Messages on Facebook, Meta Business Suite, Business Manager, and other third-party apps.

Click Confirm:

Enter your credentials and click Log in:

All done! Now, you can connect your Business Instagram account to your widget: Setting the Source of Your Instagram Feed.

Mobile Instructions

Open the Facebook page's Menu tab and tap on the Settings icon in the top right corner:

Tap on Linked accounts:

Select Instagram:

Click Connect account:

Log in with your Instagram credentials:

Verify that the correct Instagram account is selected, then tap Log in as:

Success! Your Instagram account is now connected. Move on to connect it to your widget: Setting the Source of Your Instagram Feed.

Open Instagram on mobile and tap Edit profile:

Under Profile information → Page, tap Connect or create:

Tap Continue:

Then tap Login to Facebook:

Enter your credentials and tap Log in:

Ensure the correct Facebook account is selected, then tap Continue as:

Select the Facebook page to connect and click Connect:
