Providing access to your Wix website

Sometimes Elfsight Support Team might request temporary access to your Wix website's admin panel. This article explains the reasons why and the way of sharing access.

Why we might need access

Here are the basic reasons:

• To help you install your widget
• To fix compatibility issues
• To customize your widget

Sharing access

To give us access, you need to add a new temporary user. This is how you can do it:

Log in to your Wix website's backend and go to Settings:

Find Roles and Permissions in the General section and click on it:

You will be redirected to the editing window. Click Invite People:

Add [email protected] email address, choose the Website Manager role and click Send Invite:

The user Elfsight with [email protected] email has been added.

Removing access

When you no longer need help from us, you're free to revoke access. You can do that following these easy steps:

Log in to your Wix website's backend and go to Settings:

Find Roles and Permissions in the General section and click on it:

Find the user Elfsight with [email protected] email and click Remove:

The user Elfsight with [email protected] email has been removed.

Is it safe to provide Elfsight with access?

We request access to a website's backend to work with our widgets only, we don't work with any other elements. Our developers are highly skilled and have good knowledge of how Wix operates, so your website will be in capable and careful hands!
