Getting Started with Cookie Consent
When setting up your Cookie Consent widget, it's important to customize it according to your needs. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to make sure your widget fits perfectly with your website.

Setting Up Content
The process of creating your Cookie Consent widget starts with adding the necessary information on the Content tab.
First, you should choose the Compliance Type:
- Just tell users that you use cookies informs visitors about the use of cookies on your site.
- Ask users to opt into cookies provides visitors with the option to either Allow or Decline the use of cookies.
Next, you can choose the necessary language for your target audience in the dropdown menu of the Language section:
Within the Message section, you can add your own text for your website visitors to see:
The Policy Display (1) section offers the flexibility to either redirect viewers to your own policy or disable the policy link altogether. Feel free to insert your custom Policy URL (2) and add your custom text within the Policy Link Text (3) field:
Depending on the Compliance Type, you can also create the following Buttons:
- Confirmation Button (available when Just tell users that you use cookies is selected). You can also hide this button if you wish:
- Allow / Decline buttons (available with the Ask users to opt into cookies option):
Finally, you can adjust your icon in the Cookie Icon section:
- Show Cookie Icon - choose whether to show the icon or remove it.
- Icon Type - this option allows you to stick with the default icon or upload a custom one.
Now that your widget is all set with content, the next step is to style the widget to match your website’s look. Let’s take a closer look at the customization options!
Choosing Layout
On the Layout tab, you can choose the desired placement of the widget on your website. There are five options:
- Top Banner
- Bottom Banner
- Left Floating Box
- Center Floating Box
- Right Floating Box
Customizing Style
The Style tab will help you adjust the look and feel of your widget. In the Colors section, you can customize the colors of such elements as background, text, link, and buttons:
With the Text Font Size option, you can adjust the font size of the text in your widget by moving the cursor on the scale:
