Why my YouTube Gallery doesn't update

No need to worry if your YouTube Gallery widget doesn't immediately show the latest videos from your YouTube source. This article explains why this happens.

The reason behind this is that our widget uses cache to make it load faster and to reduce the load on the server. The widget doesn’t request YouTube each time your page is opened or reloaded. Instead, it requests YouTube once in 24 hours, pulls in the videos from your source channel, stores them in the cache, and displays them from the cache.

After the cache is expired, the widget requests YouTube for the videos again, and that’s when the updates make it to your widget.
