Adding widget to Facebook Page

In this article, we’ll show you a simple way to add your Elfsight widget to your Facebook Page. While direct integration is no longer available, you can showcase your widget by using an Action button on your Page. Let’s explore how to make the widget visible to your audience! 😊

Adding Action Button to Facebook

Direct widget installations were previously supported on Facebook Classic Pages. However, with the transition to the New Pages Experience, Facebook no longer supports this functionality.

But don’t worry—there’s still a way to display your widget! You can add an Action Button to your Facebook Page and link it to your widget, giving your visitors easy access to it directly from your Page. Log in to your Facebook account and click your profile icon in the top right corner. In the dropdown menu, select your Business Page and click it to switch:

If you're already browsing your Facebook Business page, just click the page icon in the dropdown.

Click the three-dot icon and choose Add Action Button:

Select the Appropriate button from the list and click Next.

Below are suggested button types for different widgets:

• Chat Widgets → Contact us
• Video Gallery Widgets → Watch now
• Reviews Widgets → Learn more

Adding Your Elfsight Widget to the Action Button

Now you need to connect your widget’s Share Link to the Action Button on your Facebook Page. We’ve outlined the steps below to help you out.

On the app page in your Elfsight dashboard, choose the desired widget and click Install:

Switch to the Share Link tab and copy your widget link:

Add the copied link to your Facebook Action Button and click Save:

Great job! Your Facebook Page will now display an Action Button that directs visitors to your widget.
