Adding Elfsight widget to Squarespace website with Personal plan

Adding your inline widget to a specific page

Go to Squarespace admin panel
Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Open your page settings
Click on the Website section on the left side menu and then click Edit:

Add section for the block
Choose the needed place for your widget and click Add Section there:

Click Add a blank section option in the popup window:

Add block for the installation code
Push the Add block button and choose the Markdown option:

Paste the installation code
Click on the Edit icon and paste the widget installation code in the Content popup:

The widget may not appear in the block right away. In this case, save the changes and go back to editing, the widget will be visible.

Adjust the Block's size
Change the block's width by dragging the widget's border to the right:

All done! You added the widget to a specific page.

Adding your floating widget to a specific page

Go to Squarespace admin panel
Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Open your page settings
Click on the Website section on the left side menu and then click Edit:

Add the block
Go to the end of the page, hover over the block and click on any Plus sign and choose the Markdown option:

Paste the installation code
Add the installation code to the window that pops up. Save the changes when the widget appears on the page:

Adding your floating widget to a specific page using Add Section

Go to Squarespace admin panel
Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Open your page settings
Click on the Website section on the left side menu and then click Edit:

Add section for the block
Choose any place on the page and click Add Section there:

Click Add a blank section option in the popup window:

Push the Add block button and choose the Markdown option:

Adding your floating widget to all the pages of your website

Go to Squarespace admin panel
Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Open your website dashboard
Go to your website dashboard and click on Edit:

Add the block
Go to the footer of the page, hover over it and click Edit Footer, click on any Plus sign and choose Markdown:

Add the installation code
Paste the installation code to the window that pops up and save the changes:

The widget will appear on all the pages where the footer is enabled. If you have a page without a footer, you will need to add the widget there separately.

That's it! You added a floating widget to all the pages of your website on a Personal Squarespace plan.
