Adding Elfsight Widget to Squarespace Website with Basic Plan

Add Your Static or Floating Widget to a Specific Page

Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Click on the Website section in the left sidebar, select the page, and click Edit:

Choose the place for your widget and click Add Section:

Click Add a Blank Section in the popup:

Hit the Add Block button and choose the Embed block option:

Click the Pencil icon:

Choose Code Snippet and click Embed data:

Paste your widget installation code:

Please note that the widget may not appear in the block — that’s normal. Save the changes and refresh the page to see the widget in the editor.

Adjust the block's size if needed by dragging the widget's borders:

All done! You've successfully added the widget to a specific page. 😊

Add Your Floating Widget to All Pages

Log in to your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget:

Go to your website dashboard and click Edit:

Scroll to the footer of the page, hover over it, and click Edit Site Footer:

Click Add Block and choose the Embed block option:

Click the Pencil icon:

Choose Code Snippet and click Embed data:

Paste your widget installation code:

Please note that the widget may not appear in the editor — that’s normal. Save the changes and check the widget live.

That's it! You've added a floating widget to all pages of your website on a Squarespace Basic plan.
