Why we might need access

Here are the basic reasons:

  • to help you install your widget
  • to fix compatibility issues
  • to customize your widget

4 easy steps to provide access

Log in to the admin panel of your Laravel website's hosting, go to FTP&SSH tab (1) and choose FTP accounts (2):

To find the location of your sharing FTP access area, please contact your hosting provider.

For this article, we will use Elasticweb hosting.

Scroll down and click Create ftp user:
Add the Name (elfsight) (1), create your password and add it to the Password field (2). Then click the Create button (3). Directory line remains empty:
Find The list of your FTP accounts on this page and you will see the user you created. All you need to do is to provide us with your Username (1), Host (2), Port (3) and password: The FTP access for Elfsight has been successfully shared.

Remove Elfsight user

It’s important to delete the users you gave access to your website's backend to when they no longer need it.

Log in to the admin panel of your Laravel website's hosting, go to FTP&SSH tab (1) and choose FTP accounts (2):
Scroll down to The list of your FTP accounts and click on the Settings icon:
Choose the Delete option:

The access has been successfully removed.
