Adding Elfsight widget to a Notion page

Looking for instructions on how to add your Elfsight widget to a Notion page? This step-by-step guide will navigate you through the process, ensuring a smooth integration every step of the way.

Due to the Notion's peculiarities, it's not possible to install popup and floating widgets (such as Age Verification, Popup, Chat/Reviews apps with a floating layout) on Notion pages. These widgets can only be added if their layout can be switched to inline.

To install your inline (static) widget on a Notion page, please follow these easy steps.

1

Unfortunately, Notion doesn't support regular installation codes of Elfsight widgets, so you must start from converting your widget's installation code into the following format:

https://apps.elfsight.com/widget/WIDGET_ID

Please make sure that you replace WIDGET_ID in the link above with the ID of your widget. Here is a screenshot that demonstrates which part of the installation code represents your widget's ID:

2

Once the code is ready, log in to your Notion account, select the page where you need to install the widget, and click ➕ to add a new block:

3
Following that, select Embed in the dropdown list:
4
Add the converted code within the window that will pop up and click Embed Link:
5
With your mouse cursor, grab and drag the border to adjust the widget's width and height if necessary:

Well done! You've successfully added your widget to Notion.
