Providing access to your Squarespace website

Sometimes Elfsight Support Team might request temporary access to your Squarespace website's admin panel. This article explains the reasons why and the way of sharing access.

Why we might need access

Here are the basic reasons:

To help you install your widget
To fix compatibility issues
To customize your widget

Inviting a contributor

To give us access, please add a new contributor following the steps below.

Click Permissions & Ownership:

Following that, click Invite Contributor:

Fill in the following Contributor information and confirm the action by clicking Invite.

Name: elfsight
Email: [email protected]
Permissions: Administrator

The invitation has been successfully sent.

A contributor didn’t receive the invitation

In case a contributor didn’t receive the invitation, you can send the invitation link manually. For that, click on the contributor’s name within the Invites Sent field and copy the invitation link:

Now you can send it to a contributor via email.

Canceling an invitation

To remove access permissions, click on the contributor’s name within the Invites Sent field, press the action button (...) and choose to Cancel Invite:
