Displaying Facebook Chat on a particular page or pages of your website

When customizing your Facebook Chat widget, you can set it to display on some specific pages of your website or exclude it from pages where you don't want to see the widget. We will show you how to do that below.

Displaying widget on specific website page

To make the widget appear only on a certain page of your website, open your widget's editor and go to SettingsChat Display SettingsPages:

Within Where to Display Chat, choose Specific Pages and click Add Page:

Insert a URL of the page where you want to see the widget:

To display your Facebook Chat widget on the homepage only, type in the word homepage instead of adding its URL:

Excluding widget from specific page

When you need to hide your widget on a specific page, choose Excluded Pages → Add Page:

Add a URL of the page where you don't want the widget to appear and that's it:

Easy as that!

Showing widget on a group of pages or excluding it from them

To make the widget appear only on a specific group of pages or exclude it from this group, you need to use the * asterisk symbol. For example:

In this case, all pages that start with https://elfsight.com/blog/ will be chosen and the widget will either be displayed on these pages only or will be excluded from them depending on your settings.
Here are a few examples of Elfsight Blog pages that will be chosen by the widget on this condition:
