Why my radio station link doesn't play in Radio Player

When starting using our Radio Player widget, you may face the following situation: the station link you're adding to the widget doesn't play. The reason for this issue is that the widget supports only media links. And in this article, we will explain how to convert your link to the appropriate format.

How to convert the station link

Here are two simple steps that will help to convert your radio station link to a required format:

  1. Go to your radio station URL in the browser, for example, https://www.kexp.org/ → open the developer console by pressing F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I → go to Network tab → and select Media section.

  1. Then you just need to play the radio → click on the first file in the Name column → and copy the media link in the Request URL result.

Done, now you can use this link in your Radio Player widget and enjoy the music!
