Why my Hotels reviews are not being updated

If you see that your newest reviews are not in the widget yet, the most general reason for it is the cache. Our Reviews widgets use 48-hours cache, so the new reviews may get displayed in your widget with a delay.

Why all Elfsight Reviews apps use cache

Our apps use cache due to these reasons: to make the widget load faster and reduce the server load. Thus they don't receive data each time someone browses your widget. Instead, they make a request once in every 48 hours, pull in the reviews, store them in the cache, and display them from the cache. After the cache is expired, the widgets send a request for the reviews again, and that's when the new ones make it to your widget.

48 hours have passed and the reviews are still not showing up

If it has been 48 hours since a review was posted and it is still not displayed in your widget, there may be some local issues. Please contact our Support Team, we will be happy to help you.
