Why my Capterra reviews are not being updated
The most general reason for not-updating the reviews is the cache. Our Capterra Reviews widget uses 72-hour cache, so the new reviews may get displayed in your widget with a delay.
Why all Elfsight Reviews apps use cache
Our Reviews widgets use cache due to technical reasons. The basic reasons are making the widget load faster and reducing the server load. The widget doesn't receive data each time someone browses your widget. Instead, it makes a request once in every 72 hours, pulls in the reviews, stores them in the cache, and displays them from the cache. After the cache is expired, the widget sends a request for the reviews again, and that's when the new ones make it to your widget.
72 hours have passed and the reviews still not showing up
