Displaying YouTube channel in Shopify YouTube Gallery app

Our YouTube Gallery widget supports different sources: channels, links, and playlists. This article explains how to add a channel as a source for your widget and where to find the correct link if you’re using our Shopify YouTube Gallery.

There are three types of YouTube Channel links:

• ID-based Channel URL (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkRfArvrzheW2E7b6SVT7vQ)
• Custom URL (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/c/[channel])
• Handles (e.g., https://youtube.com/@channel-handle-name)

To add an ID-based URL, you need to find your Channel ID. Follow the steps below to do it.

Log in to your YouTube account.

Click your profile picture in the top right corner and choose Settings:

In the left menu, select Advanced settings and copy your Channel ID:

Replace Channel_ID in the link below with the Channel ID you just copied:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/Channel_ID

Paste the ID-based URL into the YouTube Channel URL field on the Source tab:

Done! You've successfully added your ID-based Channel URL to your Shopify YouTube Gallery app.
