Why my Social Feed is not being updated
In case you see that some of your newest posts are not displayed in the widget, the most general reason for that is the cache. Our Social Feed app uses cache to improve performance, however, this also causes the delay in displaying new posts in the widget.

How often the sources update
Here is the update time for each platform in the Social Feed widget:
Platform | Update Time |
---|---|

RSS | 1 hour |
TikTok | 12 hours |
Tumblr | 6 hours |
Vimeo | 1 hour |
VK | 1 hour |
YouTube | 24 hours |
How the cache works
With the way our widget works, it uses cache to load faster and to reduce the server load, so it doesn't request the sources each time someone browses your feed. Instead, it requests each platform once in a specific period of time, pulls in the posts by the specified criteria, stores them in the cache, and displays them from the cache. After the cache has expired, the widget requests platforms for the posts again, and that's when the new ones make it to your feed.
Cache helps the widget not to request platforms each time someone enters the page where it is installed, which allows the widget to load faster and reduce the server load.
