Connecting Instagram account you don't own

In some cases, for example, if you are an agency or a web designer, you may require showing posts in Instagram Feed widget from the Instagram account that you don't own. There is a feature that will help you connect Instagram account of your client.

And here are simple steps explaining how to do it:

1. Create your widget and send an authorization link to your client

First of all, you need to click on How to connect an account I don't own and copy the link below:

Then you need to send this link to a person whose Instagram account you would like to connect.

Important! Please keep in mind that you should save the widget once you copy the link for your client.

After that, you may notice that the connection status has changed to Pending:

2. Client's authorization in Facebook/Instagram

Your client should log in to their Facebook or Instagram account by the link you provided, go through all necessary steps, and approve access to their account.

3. Complete widget's customization

Once your client authorizes access, the widget will be connected automatically.
